Overview of event

The AR for Enterprise Alliance (AREA) is the only global membership-funded alliance helping to accelerate the adoption of Enterprise Augmented Reality (AR) by supporting the growth of a comprehensive ecosystem. We support innovative companies that invest in AR technology and who seek knowledge about the tools available, use cases, methods of implementation and return on investment.

365体育投注During the Engineering XR for the Future AREA/ETSI/XR4ALL Joint Workshop –, March 5-6, 2020, participants will share and gain insights into the use of open and interoperable interfaces and components to ensure that AR and XR technologies will scale up and impact every industry in the next decade.

365体育投注There will be reports from industry and standards bodies sharing their challenges and approaches to addressing barriers to interoperability. In order to disseminate the outcomes of the workshop to those in the AR industry beyond in-person participants, the AREA is partnering with members of the ETSI Industry Specification Group (ISG) Augmented Reality Framework (ARF) – – and European Commission XR4ALL – – project to summarize the workshop highlights and recommendations.
