Overview of event

The AR for Enterprise Alliance (AREA) is the only global membership-funded alliance helping to accelerate the adoption of Enterprise Augmented Reality (AR) by supporting the growth of a comprehensive ecosystem. We support innovative companies that invest in AR technology and who seek knowledge about the tools available, use cases, methods of implementation and return on investment.

During the Engineering XR for the Future AREA/ETSI/XR4ALL Joint Workshop – – March 5-6, 2020, participants will hear inspirational talks about the future of key XR domains and collaborate with experts on the development of a global XR Research Agenda for the future.

In order to disseminate the outcomes of the workshop to those in the AR industry beyond in-person participants, the AREA is partnering with members of the ETSI Industry Specification Group (ISG) Augmented Reality Framework (ARF) – – and European Commission XR4ALL – – project to summarize the workshop highlights and recommendations.
